Bringing the edges together at a crucial time in our history
Many thanks to my partners at Monk Manual and Big Life Journal, both of whose missions and products align perfectly with the work at The Grit Institute. Monk Manual is the only planner I’ve stuck with, and truly enjoy using to plan and to reflect — even to journal (enjoy 15% off your quarterly planner using the code SHANNONHPOLSON)!
Big Life Journal has been important for our family now for several years (products for kids and adults) — I’m certain you’ll agree. (use code GRIT15 for your 15% discount!)

What could happen if you brought together hundreds of experts in disparate fields to share community and ideas?
In early July, our family traveled to Monterey, California to join several hundred people coming together to share ideas. The Renaissance Weekends began over forty years ago, when Ambassador Phil Lader and his wife Linda invited sixty people to join then for New Years weekend in Hilton Head to see what might come of their varied experiences all in one place. The result has been — among many things — a legacy of connection.
